This is the result of the two-strand twists that I did with my locs a few days or so prior to filming this video…

I really liked your two-strand twist out. Did I hear you say that you actually washed you hair with the two-strand twist in your hair? I generally do braids after I wash so the I retighten at the same time. I guess I learned something new today. I love all that you do to help educate us about our hair and children’s hair as well. Thanks so much. Keep up the great work!!

    Hi Curly Q,

Thank you very much! Yes, I washed my hair with the twists still in, making sure the ends were secured so they wouldn’t unravel. I just wanted to rock the style for a while before taking them down and so when I needed to wash my hair in that interim, I did so and then a day (I believe) after that wash, I took them down. Thank so much for you comment and I will continue to do my best to bring value where and when I can! :)

Love it! Thanks for the updates and additional tips. I’m in the baby stage so I will “tuck” this away for later.

    Thanks Marla!

I am loving all of your videos. Your locks are beautiful. It is hard to believe they started as small braid locks. It is great to just see a seasoned locker. I appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience and know how. Do you have any suggestions for styles for shorter locks. I free style just about everyday but would love to have something to pull out every once in a while.

Thank you so much Nikisha! Yes, sometimes it indeed is hard to believe where these locs have come from! :)

I will be sharing some loc styles very shortly, so please be on the look out for them!
